Team Study Tour Borneo 2017 members sold fair trade chocolates for charity at school on February 6-8 just before St. Valentine’s Day. We learned about the harm of palm plantation on the rain forests through the tour in Borneo last summer. The members appealed the People Tree Chocolates are good for both people and environment because they are fair trade products and also made without palm oil which is usually used in most snacks. More than 500 chocolate bars were sold out in three days and we donated ¥11,321 to an NPO, Borneo Conservation Trust Japan.
